Ultimate Chocolate Cake Baking & Decorating Class

Learn to bake and decorate the Ultimate Chocolate Cake In this full day, 7-hour class hosted by Sally. Each student will get to bake and decorate their own ultimate chocolate cake from start to finish, learning all the recipes and techniques required including baking, making icings, ganaches, tempering chocolate, making cake truffles and cake decorating. 

This class is suitable for anyone - everyone is welcome. The only requirement is you have to LOVE chocolate. This class will include a 45 minute lunch break - please bring lunch with you. Refreshments and snacks will be provided throughout the class. 

         To attend this class you must be 16 years and over.  

What do we cover in the cake class?

• Baking chocolate cake sponges
• Preparing chocolate buttercream and ganache
• Levelling, filling and crumb coating cakes
• Top coating cakes with ganache
• An introduction to chocolate tempering
• Cake pops/balls/truffles
• Making Chocolate decorations
