2 Day 2 Tier Cake Course
This course will take place over 2 days from 10am - 4.30pm. There will be just 6 spaces available for this course.
This 2 day course will teach you absolutely everything you need to know to create your very own 2 tier cake and set you up for future cake success.
On day one you will learn how to bake 2 different cakes; chocolate with your choice of filling, and raspberry ripple with your choice of filling. You will learn 2 different methods to create these cakes before moving on to make both American and Swiss Meringue buttercreams that you will flavour with your choice of filling.
Day 2 will start with trimming, filling and crumb-coating both of your cake tiers during which we will cover the fundamentals to preparing your cakes for stacking and why it is important to do so.
You will learn how to design your cake before mastering a selection of buttercream techniques that you can choose to decorate your cake with. Once you have stacked your two tier cake you will learn techniques including piping and drips to complete your masterpiece.
This is the ultimate course for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge in baking and cake decorating and perfect for those looking to embark on their own business in the cake industry.
This course is open to everyone however some prior knowledge and experience in baking and decorating will be helpful.
